songbirds, breezes and a shrub

These are uncertain times. We are having to be open to new possibilities in how we connect, show love and engage with one another. I am choosing to take this up as gently as possible and let the winds of spring and the small buds popping up all around me remind me that there are seasons in everything.

I hope that in this time of physical distancing, that we can walk in nature and connect to ourselves and with each other. I believe that nature, movement and connection are a way forward in all this uncertainty. It is something we have in our power to do for ourselves, when it feels like everything all around us is weird and our “normal” has shifted. If there are no forests around you where you are, which is the reality for so many, I hope that moments outside with a breeze, listening for sounds of a spring songbird, noticing a tree or shrub or even walking on pavement inspire you. Notice what comes up, notice your pace, notice if the quality of your thoughts changes as you go.
